Boston Area Invites You to “Cures and Miracles in Lourdes”

02/06/2019

Those in and near the Boston Area have a very special opportunity to meet with a member of our Order who plays a central role in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. We welcome seeing you at an informative talk presented by Frà Alessandro de Franciscis, MD, ScM.

In 2009, he was appointed President of the Lourdes Office of Medical Observations and President of the Lourdes International Medical Association. His office examines the cases of alleged cures. Frà Alessandro de Franciscis is coming to Cambridge for meetings at Harvard University.  Having entered the Order of Malta in 2012 as a Knight of Honor and Devotion, the following year he pursued his vocation to religious life that led him to make his solemn vows and become a professed member of the Order in 2017 as a Knight of Justice. He welcomes the opportunity to speak to a gathering of Order of Malta members and friends about his experiences with healing, miracles, and whole person care.

Please join us for an evening to remember that Jesus is “the true physician of our bodies and souls” (Pope Francis) and is ever at work in the miracles of Lourdes and the mission of the Order of Malta. Praying God’s blessings on you for your dedication to the Church and to the Order, and your love for the sick and poor.
