All, 

It is breathtaking what has been achieved in the last decade for millions of poor and crisis-affected because the Order’s worldwide relief through MI and others could reach out. I just returned from Ukraine and can tell you: our troops are bringing light in dark moments. With full dedication and a loving heart, they didn’t cease to deliver. The Lord Mayor of Lviv shared with me: 

“When authorities received 10.000 IDP (internally displaced person) in Lviv Central Station on the last days of February we called UN agencies like UNHCR for help. They answered literally: we can’t act, we are busy for the next 3-4 weeks evacuating own staff. You (local orders relief organization Malteser Ukraine) were there and never left.”
