On Saturday, June 13th at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson, NJ, six Knights and Dames from the New Jersey Area participated in the Diocese of Paterson’s 2026 Priestly Ordination Mass at the invitation of Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney, ChC. 

Concelebrating the Mass was Fr. Alex Nevitt, ChD from the NJ Area along with many other priests from the Paterson Diocese and beyond. During this Mass, Bishop Sweeney ordained two thankful men for the gift of the priesthood – Fr. Jender Arley Medina and Fr. Lucas Folan. 

The NJ Area was honored to bear witness and represent the Order of Malta at this solemn event which is a first for the Order with this Diocese in many years.
