The Missouri Area Rosary Outreach Ministry (ROM), led by Mike and Donna Albers, became active in January 2025. Over the recent months it has remained busy distributing Order of Malta rosaries to senior living residences, assisted living facilities and nursing homes for use with their weekly prayer groups. Additionally, we have identified an emerging need at various Catholic high schools. Campus ministers are now using the Order of Malta rosaries with their campus rosary groups. 

To date, 795 rosaries have been disbursed to 29 groups in four different states. Each rosary kit consists of a rosary pouch, rosary guide and blessed Order of Malta rosary. Each facility is also given an informational sheet on the Order of Malta.  In addition to rosary dispersal, we are now leading several rosary groups in nursing homes that have been very eager to start a weekly rosary group for their residents. 

The rosary recipients are very appreciative to receive the beautiful rosaries. Our efforts in Missouri are proving to be a meaningful way for the sick to know that they are not forgotten and for young students to be introduced to the beauty of the rosary.
