On Wednesday, July 15, under humid skies hazy with smoke from Canadian wildfires, members of the NYC Area, Auxiliary, and friends gathered at St. Patrick’s Cathedral for Malta Walks. The group began in the Cathedral’s lower prayer room, praying the Order’s Daily Prayer together before preparing 40 Malta bags filled with toiletries, combs, granola bars, and peanut butter sandwiches.

With bags in hand, volunteers walked south along Lexington Avenue, distributing them to those in need throughout Midtown Manhattan. Amid conversation and fellowship along the way, the group concluded their walk at Grand Central Terminal.
