On September 8th, the Feast of the Nativity of Our Blessed Lady, nearly 100 faithful gathered at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Center Valley. The Allentown Area was honored to host Fr. Mark Searles, Director of the College Propaedeutic Program at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary and Parochial Administrator of Our Lady of Mercy Parish and St. Anthony of Padua Parish.

Fr. Searles gave a faith-filled and inspiring lecture on The Miracles of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, covering many well-known sites in the world. Hitting close to home, Father included a miraculous healing of his cousin when she was a child with a grave condition, after invoking the Blessed Mother’s intercession.

The evening was concluded with a joyful social hour in the church’s social hall. It was a wonderful way of celebrating our Blessed Mother’s Birthday.
