The Connecticut – North East Area gathered for Holy Mass for the feast of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who is venerated by the Order under the title of Our Lady of Philermo, at St. Thomas More Chapel in New Haven (at Yale University).

Our chaplain Father Joseph MacNeill focussed our attention on Mary’s role in the gift of salvation in bearing the Sun of Justice, Jesus, into human history. Our Lady of Philermo has been our constant heavenly intercessor of faith, hope and charity. Following Mass we made sandwich bags for Malta Walks —our monthly ministry serving the homeless on the New Haven Green.
