Beginning with this year’s election, the American Association enters a regular three-year cycle: the President is elected in the first year; the Officers (Secretary General, Hospitaller and Treasurer) in the second; and three Board representatives from each of the Second and Third Classes in the third. This year the office before the membership is the Presidency.

Our current President, Kenneth R. Craig, GCM, is eligible to stand for a second term, and the Nominating Committee has recommended his candidacy. Other candidates were proposed by members for consideration; those individuals chose not to continue through the nomination process. The Board of Directors approved Ken’s candidacy at its meeting on September 24th. If reelected, his second term will begin January 1, 2027 and run for three years.

Ballots will be distributed on October 9, 2026 to all members in good standing (up to date with their 2026 Annual Contributions). Voting closes on November 6, 2026. Results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on November 13, 2026. Voting is anonymous, and instructions will follow by email. All eligible members are strongly encouraged to vote.
