American Association Events

The relics of St. Bernadette of Lourdes are touring the United States for the first time ever. We are very pleased to share with you that the relics will visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral on the afternoon of Monday, May 23rd and that we will use this opportunity to host a modified Lourdes Pilgrimage for the American Association both in person and virtually.

Please join us in person at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, or virtually via the live webcast, and consider inviting those in need of healing as well as your family and friends. This is an extraordinarily unique opportunity for us to welcome former malades and caregivers, those we would have liked to bring these past few years, as well as those who may never have a chance to visit Lourdes. In this spirit, we are delighted to be working with ArchCare, the continuing care community of the Archdiocese of New York, to join us and would welcome the participation of other groups. Although nothing can replace our journey to bring malades to Lourdes, this is a very special way to bring Lourdes to our malades!

Our program will mirror the schedule that we would normally celebrate on the second day of our pilgrimage in Lourdes:

3:00 PM
Reception of the Relics into St. Patrick’s Cathedral

3:15 PM
Spiritual Reflection offered by Association Chaplains
Veneration of the Relics of St. Bernadette
Recitation of the Rosary

5:30 PM
Mass and Anointing of the Sick Celebrated by His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan, BGCHD, Archbishop of New York

7:00 PM
Reception (Tentative)

Please click here if you would like to submit prayer intentions that will be placed at the altar during the Offertory of the Mass.
