The Allentown Area, the newest Area in the American Association, held their first spiritual work as a group, a Lenten Evening of Reflection. The event was hosted at Assumption Parish, Colesville, PA by its pastor and the Area Chaplain, Msgr. Nevin Klinger. The evening began with a dinner prepared and served by several parishioners of Assumption. 

After dinner, Fr. Mark McDonald, M.S.C., gave an inspirational Lenten talk. This was followed by quiet time in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament and an opportunity for the Sacrament of Penance. The evening concluded with Benediction. A very welcome guest during the evening was Rev. Dr. Jeffery Trexler, Executive Director of the American Association, accompanied by his wife Connie. 

The members of the Allentown Area are excited to become increasingly involved in Order of Malta projects and spiritual activities.
