The Dwelling Place

The Dwelling Place of New York is back to welcoming volunteers for their Grab and Go Pantry Bag and To Go Dinner Plate distribution. The Grab and Go Pantry Bag and To Go Dinner Plate distribution shifts take place on Wednesdays at The Dwelling Place of New York. Volunteers will help pack and distribute grocery bags with fresh produce and shelf-stable goods for community members. This organization relies heavily on its volunteers to help serve hundreds of community members each month.

Volunteer Shifts Include:
10 AM – 12 PM – help to pack the bags
2 PM – 5:30 PM – set up and distribute bags

Please join us for a Lenten Holy Hour and Spiritual Reflection with Rev. Gerald E. Murray, ChM, JCD, at the Church of the Holy Family (315 East 47th St.).

The Lenten Holy Hour will include Spiritual Reflections preached by Rev. Murray, pastor of the Church of the Holy Family, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, recitation of the Holy Rosary, and an opportunity for the Sacrament of Penance.
