5/15/2024 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm New York - NYC	Malta Walks “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me… Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:35-40 We would like to invite volunteers to meet at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Parish House, 14 E. 51st Street, New York City (please come to the Rectory Door on Madison Ave. near 51st St.). We will make sandwiches and add them to bags which will include winter hats, gloves and socks. We will then head out in small groups to distribute the bags to the homeless. After we are done, which should be around 8:00 PM, we will meet at a pub (exact location TBD) for music and fellowship. To participate, kindly click here to RSVP. 5/23/2024 6:30 pm American Association Events	Path to Peace Foundation Gala Dinner to Honor the Grand Master Path to Peace Gala Dinner Honors His Most Eminent Highness, Prince and Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta Frá John T. Dunlap The Path to Peace Gala Dinner, in support of the work of the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations in New York and urgent humanitarian causes, honors an individual each year for outstanding service to the cause of peace. This year’s Honoree is His Most Eminent Highness, Prince and Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Frá John Dunlap. He has been a member of the Order’s Knights of Justice since 2004, and in 2023 was elected the Order’s new Grand Master. The Sovereign Military Order of Malta undertakes many humanitarian activities across the globe, without distinction to faith, political affiliation, or the status of the beneficiaries. The many activities of the Order testify to the genuinely global nature and outreach of the Order in striving to provide care and hospitality to the most vulnerable populations in the world due to poverty, illness, or conflict. Closer to home, Frá John has quietly served those on the fringes of society for many years in New York City. The Holy See Mission and the Path to Peace Foundation have benefited from his advice and legal counsel for decades. The Gala will take place on Thursday, May 23rd, at The Marriott Marquis Hotel –Times Square, 1535 Broadway, New York (between 45th and 46th Streets).
