Malta House Heart to Table is a heartfelt monthly gathering that takes place every first Thursday of the month. Organized by dedicated Order of Malta volunteers, this special event brings together moms, their babies, and the caring community that surrounds them. Each month, Malta Volunteers prepare a warm, nourishing dinner side by side with Malta House moms, creating a welcoming environment where the community can enjoy a delicious meal, connect with others, and find support and encouragement. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a time to build relationships, share stories, and foster a sense of belonging.

Malta House Heart to Table exemplifies the spirit of compassion and community, reminding us all that a simple act of kindness—sharing a meal—can make a meaningful difference in the lives of moms and their little ones.

Please join us at the Cathedral of Saint Paul for the First Saturday of the month. The morning will include Mass at 8am, followed by sung morning prayer, a light breakfast, and a talk.

Knights and Dames will NOT vest for Mass.

We will again have a dedicated meeting space reserved for our group. A minimum of 20 participants is required. The recommended donation per person is $50.

Provide and or/deliver food, clothing, and other supplies to those living on the street in Detroit.

Sing-A-Long at Mother Cabrini Specialty Hospital for Children

Please join us as we sing, dance, laugh, and entertain the disabled children and young adults at the Mother Cabrini Specialty Hospital for Children at TCC for a sing-a-long. A good singing voice is not required—only time, an open heart, and a smile!

Participants should come to 1249 5th Ave (between 105th and 106th Street). Volunteers will be at the entrance to greet you, sign you in, and direct you towards our meeting room. Fun hats and costumes are welcome! Kindly click here to RSVP.

We need singers, bartenders, and anyone with the spirit of joy to bring hope to those who are healing at this amazing ArchCare medical center. Drinks and socialization with the volunteers to follow. St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen is now located at People’s Community Church 8601 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48202. Covering the 2nd and 4th (and sometimes 5th) Friday of each month, volunteers will help with food prep for future meals, prepare and serve meals under the direction of Chef Dominic.
