The American Association had a table to speak to participants at the 87th Annual Educational Conference of the Catholic Medical Association in Dallas, Texas. Representatives from the Dallas Area coordinated and represented the Association at the conference, providing local members with the opportunity to meet with attendees and share information about the Order.

 

 

There were more than 700 attendees at the conference, including medical doctors, physician assistants, and registered nurses. The Knights and Dames who covered the Association’s display met with about three hundred fifty Conference attendees from all over the country. A number of Knights and Dames from the three Associations who were attending the Conference also stopped to speak with the Association representatives.

Hosting a table at the conference enabled members of the Association to educate clinicians about the Order of Malta’s history, its mission and its many ministries.
