Milwaukee Area’s Blessed Fra’ Gerard Distinguished Lecture

10/04/2019

On October 1st, the Inaugural Blessed Fra’ Gerard Distinguished Lecture was delivered by Dr. Samuel Gregg, Director of Research at the Michigan-based Acton Institute, to a lively group of Knights and Dames from both the American and Federal Associations in Milwaukee. The topic for the evening was Dr. Gregg’s 2019 book, Reason, Faith, and the Struggle for Western Civilization, published by Regnery Press.

The Blessed Fra’ Gerard Distinguished Lecture was established to honor the Order’s founder by featuring Catholic scholars whose work complements the mission of the Order, summed up in its motto, tuitio fidei et obsequium pauperum.  It is intended to be an annual tradition, held on or around Blessed Gerard’s feast day on October 13th.
