Last year, after a Mass at Old St. Mary Parish, a number of Knights and Dames from both the American and Federal Associations in Milwaukee listened to Dr. Samuel Gregg’s inaugural Blessed Frá Gerard Lecture at the University Club of Milwaukee.
This year, on the feast of our founder, Fr. Erik Ross, OP, has prepared a virtual lecture entitled, The Gift of the Church.
A Milwaukee native, Fr. Erik is a priest of the Dominican Order who lives in Switzerland. For many years, he was stationed in Poland. He is currently working on a PhD in Sacred Scripture at the University of Fribourg.

O God, who exalted blessed Gérard because of his care for the poor and the sick, and through him founded in Jerusalem the Order of St. John the Baptist, give us the grace of seeing, as he did, the image of your Son in our brothers and sisters.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit One God, for ever and ever. Amen.
