The St. Jude Center, run by Catholic Charities Dallas, provides housing, coupled with case management, to a total of 104 senior homeless persons in the Dallas area.

The center provides a permanent residency, workforce training, financial education coaching and the opportunity to restore dignity and independence. During the last year, seven of the residents have left St. Jude Center return to the workforce as self-sufficient individuals.

Knights and Dames from the Dallas Area of the American Association purchased Christmas gifts for the 104 residents of St. Jude Center. The gifts are metal trolley carts, allowing each resident the ability to transport groceries from the store to their home, as well as use for similar activities.

This is the second consecutive year that Dallas Area members have sponsored St. Jude Center’s Christmas gifts, in what is becoming an annual tradition.
