Illinois Area Tour of Iconic Chicago Churches on September 18th

Knights, Dames, and friends of the American Association’s Illinois Area are invited to a very special behind-the-scenes tour of Chicago’s iconic Churches on Saturday, September 18th, 2021. 

Join Tom Zbierski, School Liaison of the Big Shoulders Fund, where he will share his deep knowledge of seven magnificent structures in a lively and informative discussion on the architecture and history of some of Chicago’s most iconic neighborhood churches.

Tour Details:

When: Saturday, September 18, 2021

Start Time: 9:30 a.m.–Meet in the parking lot of St Mary of the Angels Church, 1850 North Hermitage. You are welcome to leave your car in their lot parking lot adjacent to the church.

Tour Schedule:

10:00 a.m. Depart St Mary of the Angels Church

10:15 a.m. St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 1351 West Evergreen

10:45 a.m. Holy Trinity Polish Mission, 1118 North Noble

11:15 a.m. St Nicholas Ukrainian Cathedral, 835 North Oakley

11:45 a.m. Saints Volodymyr and Olha, 2245 West Superior

12:20 p.m. St. John Cantius 825 North Carpenter–Catered Polish lunch provided with remarks from our hosts and an update on the Order

1:45 p.m. St Mary of the Angels, 1850 North Hermitage
