On the eve of Passion Sunday, the Northeast Florida Area presented the “Shroud Encounter” with world renowned Shroud of Turin expert, Russ Breault, to hundreds at St. Joseph Church in Jacksonville.  

This nearly two-hour non-stop analysis of the history, science, and theology of the Shroud was compelling from start to finish; and, it was is a perfect study and recollection for Lent.  

The Shroud confronts it’s beholder with the entire Passion, death and Resurrection of Christ in a single panel. The story of the Shroud is one of evangelization and redemption down through the centuries.
