Many Philadelphia Area members of the Order of Malta gathered for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to celebrate the Feast of Saint John the Baptist. Father Eric Banecker presided at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Philadelphia (Overbrook,) PA. During Holy Mass, we were pleased to witness one of our newest Dames as her insignia and her mantle were blessed by Father Banecker, using the prayers and formulae from the Investiture ceremony.  All attendant Knights and Dames renewed their commitment to the Order at the conclusion of Holy Mass.  A delightful reception for members, candidates, and prospective members and their families followed immediately, where each enjoyed one another’s company, with a great spirit of love and conviviality.
