Philadelphia Area Celebrates Our Lady of the Rosary and Commemorates the Auspicious Victory of LePanto

On Friday, October 7th, Knights and Dames from Philadelphia were blessed to be able to attend the Solemn and Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, in Philadelphia, in celebration of Our Most Beloved Mother, the Blessed Mary venerated on this feast day under the title, Our Lady of the Rosary.

We were doubly blessed to commemorate the magnificent Victory of LePanto together, joined by members of other Chivalric Orders, as well as attendees of the Neumann Forum on the Incarnation.

His Eminence, Gerhard Cardinal Müller, was the principal celebrant and was joined by many priests and deacons, both of the Archdiocese and from afar. His Homily focused upon the example set by Our Blessed Mother, from her “Great fiat” to her constancy as the consummate Apostle of Our Lord in real time, throughout His Life manifesting salvation history, from the moment of Jesus’ conception, through His birth, the years unknown to us but held in Her heart, her unwavering presence near him during His selfless sacrifice on the Cross and witness to His Resurrected self.
