Twenty-six Knights, Dames, Auxiliaries, and candidates in formation attended the Michigan Area’s “First Saturday “ event on April 1st, at the Academy of the Sacred Heart Chapel in Grosse Pointe Farms.

The Michigan Area’s popular “First Saturday” events include Mass, a simple breakfast, and Lectio Divina, centering on the Gospel reading for the following Sunday. To accommodate members throughout the state, the event is held at several different locations.

Mass was celebrated by Msgr. Michael LeFevre, ChM. Afterwards, members, candidates, and guests gathered for breakfast and Lectio Divina, focusing on the Palm Sunday reading from the Gospel of Mark about Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.

The Michigan Area’s next “First Saturday” is set for May 6th at historic Old St. Patrick’s Church in Ann Arbor.
