On Sunday, April 16, 2023, members of the New Jersey Area gathered for Mass for Divine Mercy Sunday at the Church of St. James, Basking Ridge to pray for members and Malades from New Jersey who will be going on the Lourdes Pilgrimage in May.

Mass was concelebrated by New Jersey Magistral Chaplains Msgr. Sylvester Cronin, Pastor of St. James, and Msgr. William Fadrowski. Afterwards, members and Malades gathered for a luncheon at the Basking Ridge Country Club, where previous pilgrimage attendees suggested what to expect on the journey.

Current members who attended the Pilgrimage as Malades or caregivers also gave reflections on their experience and how it was the turning point that led them to join the Order of Malta as full members. Members and first-time pilgrims were able to socialize with Malades and their caregivers. All were excited to fly to Lourdes and we pray they have a spiritually fruitful pilgrimage.
