On Saturday, April 22nd, members in the Missouri Area gathered at the Missouri Athletic Club for their second annual meeting. Area Co-Chairs Greg and Kathy Gantz reviewed the Area’s achievements over that last year, which included several successful service projects, the continuing development of Malta Mobile Ministry, and the preparation of several candidates who entered the order at last fall’s investiture.

They also reviewed plans for continuing work during the coming year, discussed the involvement of members in our Area in the Called to Serve Capital Campaign, and reviewed our schedule of regular masses and rosaries. After reports on several of the order’s works, the Gantzes introduced the leadership team that will take office at the beginning of 2024. That team will be headed by Helen and Mike McCadden as the new Area Co-Chairs.

Finally, they introduced the Rev. Msgr. James Ramacciotti, ChD, who, as Deputy Chaplain, will join the Rev. Msgr. Vernon E. Gardin, ChM, PhD, in providing for the spiritual care of members in the region. After the business meeting, members enjoyed a buffet and delightful conversation.
