Philadelphia Knights and Dames Attend Priestly Ordinations

On Saturday, May 20th, several Knights and Dames from the Philadelphia Area were blessed to represent the Order of Malta and to witness ordination of seven new priests for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

His Excellency Archbishop Nelson Perez presided over the ordination Mass, as principal celebrant, and was accompanied by several other bishops, seminary faculty, and many, many priests of the Archdiocese.

Knights and Dames who vested and processed were most gratified to witness such a blessed event, and to welcome these young men as our newest clerics. Holy Mass was at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, on Logan Circle, Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Following the conclusion of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, Knights and Dames also gathered to pray at the shrine of Saint Katherine Drexel, within the Cathedral.
