On Saturday, June 10th,  several Knights and Dames from the Philadelphia Area were blessed to be able to represent the Order of Malta and to witness ordination of four new permanent deacons for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

His Excellency Archbishop Nelson Perez presided over the ordination Mass, as principal celebrant, and was accompanied by several other bishops of the Archdiocese, as well as seminary faculty, and many other priests and deacons of the Archdiocese.

Knights and Dames who vested and processed were humbled to be invited, and to witness such a blessed event, and to welcome these men who will serve our local Church in their vocation as deacons.

This beautiful Mass was at the Mother Church of our Archdiocese, the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, on Logan Circle, Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
