The Eastern CT Area offered our annual Mass for the Deceased Area Members and Families on Saturday Nov. 18, 2023 at Christ the King Church, Old Lyme. Family of the deceased were the Mass servers and readers with beautiful hymns provided by the Parish Music Ministry. The Pastor shared a very pertinent homily and recalled his own special trip to Malta.

The Intercessions included prayers for the Memorial to All Saints of the Order, the next day, Sunday November 19. Attendees lit each Remembrance candle as their family name was read from the Mass program by the Treasurer. The First Class Relic of Blessed Gerard was venerated on the Remembrance table. Father blessed all the lighted Remembrance candles before celebrating the Offertory and the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
