The Northeast Florida Area presented 25 books on the Catechism of the Catholic Church to prison ministry and the inmates on death row. The books were dedicated in memory of Bill Koenig, KMOb who spent many years visiting and witnessing our beautiful faith to these incarcerated men. There are many bibles within the prison walls, however no books on the teachings of the Catholic Church. Inmates can now read the Church’s position on the death penalty and have enlightened discussions with those in prison ministry.

In addition to the books, we have purchased a new keyboard with a stand and foot pedal for Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, Florida. This keyboard will be used for lessons and practice for the incarcerated. We are pleased to be able to assist the prison ministry group with these gifts.
