The Eastern CT Area was very pleased to honor President and Mrs. Kelly at our Advent/Christmas event on Dec. 2nd,  at Holy Apostle College and Seminary in Cromwell CT. It was a real Advent joy for the Most Rev. Peter Rosazza, ChC – Auxiliary Bishop of Hartford, Emeritus to share the day with them and us.Thanks to Very Rev. Peter Kucer, MSA – Resident & Rector for hosting a great event at the wonderful Cromwell campus. After his opening prayer, the Area Chair summarized the new membership, key initiatives, and the calendar through the Spring 2024.  Father delivered an excellent keynote talk on the relationship of Truth through Love with a perspective on the work of the Order of Malta.  He and President Kelly dialogued on the mission and work the Society of the MIssionaries of the Holy Apostles, i.e. MSA,  in comparison with the Order of Malta.Bishop Rosazza concelebrated the beautiful Mass with Father Kucer, MSA clergy, servers, and a fantastic music ministry.  Afterwards, they joined the Area members at a delightful catered lunch where the Bishop offered his remarks and blessing before the meal. President Kelly provided his thoughts on his Association tenure and the Area’s progress. The officers presented Peter and Linda with the Area’s gifts of deep appreciation for their leadership, fortitude, and many years of service to the Order, with our sincere best wishes for their future plans.
