On Sunday December 10th, members of the NYC Area brought Christmas cheer and glad tidings to the residents of Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center (MMW) with an afternoon of caroling. Led by Santa and his helpers, and joined by students from the Rudolf Steiner School, Area members strolled the halls of MMW, singing all the classics and visiting the residents. Members also visited Helen Lowe, DM, who is at MMW for a short stay (congratulations, Helen, on receiving the Christmas Angel Award from Cardinal Dolan at this year’s Cardinal’s Christmas Luncheon for Catholic Charities!)We hope this new caroling event becomes a NYC Area annual tradition.
