The Order of Malta and friends recently celebrated the World Day of Prayer for the Sick and the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes at St. Aloysius in New Canaan. The event was a tremendous success and a true reflection of our mission to serve those who are sick and suffering.

The attendees were treated to a beautiful Rosary and a candlelight procession with the traditional Ave Maria as it is sung in Lourdes. The highlight of the event was a special Mass that featured an amazing homily by Fr. Bob Dunn, the Anointing of the Sick for all those in need and a Caregivers’ Blessing.

As a memento, all participants received a handmade chaplet via the Kennedy Rosary Project and Blessed Holy Water from Lourdes. The day ended with a beautiful reception at Stapleton Hall. We would like to thank everyone who helped make this day so special and successful!
