On February 21st, over 30 NYC Area Members, Auxiliary and friends distributed food and winter clothing to the homeless and less fortunate on a Malta Walk in midtown Manhattan.  Our volunteers met at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral Parish House, were they made sandwiches and assembled bags before heading out into the winter night to provide some nourishment and warmth to the homeless. Afterwards, participants gathered at a local pub to discuss their experiences and share fellowship. 

The NYC Area is excited to expand this initiative on February 28th by holding its inaugural Malta Youth Walks, in which teenagers, their parents, teachers, and mentors will participate.
