The South West Connecticut Area is excited to invite you to join The Malta Prayer Shawl Ministry, presenting each of our 2025 Lourdes Pilgrimage Malades with a beautiful prayer shawl. These prayer shawls serve as a symbolic hug from God, bringing hope, comfort, and healing to those in need.
In the previous year, we gifted over 50 prayer shawls to our 2024 Malades in Lourdes, and Archbishop Vigneron blessed each one, which was received with kindness and appreciation.
This year, our goal is to have approximately 50 prayer shawls ready for the 2025 Lourdes Pilgrimage, with 12 already completed and waiting to be shared.
On the left is a picture (click the photo to enlarge) of a suggested prayer shawl pattern, with the finished size aimed to be around 20″ x 62″. Your participation in this ministry will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
