On Saturday, July 13th, many local Philadelphia Area Knights and Dames gathered for the Holy Sacrifice of Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Overbrook, Philadelphia, PA. Father Matthew Phelan, O de M., celebrated the Mass.

After Holy Mass, we walked up the block to Ivy Hall and enjoyed a quick brunch, and we discussed current and upcoming Order of Malta events, other coordinated American & Federal Order activities which are coming up, and also forthcoming plans as the fall schedule fills.

We prayed together, and then we once again rolled up our sleeves and assembled meals for shut ins. (Many Knights and Dames are now delivering these meals every month, and ministering to our beloved sick, too.) Finally, we said our goodbyes and went on our ways.
