The onset of extreme high temperatures signals a desperate situation for many of the homeless. When temperatures reached dangerous levels recently, members of the Order of Malta from the Missouri Area, lead by Mike Roth, K.M., responded.

They arranged for the donation of two pallets of bottled water, and, using transport provided by Malta Mobile Ministries, delivered them, along with a good stock of sports drinks and snacks, to the St. Patrick Center, which serves the homeless in downtown St. Louis.
