On the evening of October 2nd, members of the Connecticut – South West Area gathered with open hearts and joyful spirits for the Opening Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle church in Norwalk, followed by a fantastic dinner, cocktails and conversation at Shorehaven Golf Club. The Mass, beautifully celebrated by Bishop Frank Caggiano, reminded everyone of our faith and commitment to service, while Ken Craig, our esteemed President of the American Association, led members in a Renewal of Promise that echoed the dedication to our beautiful mission.
A total of 130 Knights, Dames, Year of Formation Members, Auxiliary members, Associates and friends joined together as one vibrant community. 12 incoming Knights and Dames of the 2024 Class, as well as 22 new Year of Formation members from the Class of 2025, were welcomed into the Area. Each new member brings with them a spirit of service and dedicated faith that enriches our collective journey.
A highlight of the evening was the honoring of remarkable members celebrating significant milestones. Special recognition was given to Gail Berardino, Joe Berardino, Cece Donoghue and Mike Donoghue for their 20 years in the Order. Barbara Miller was celebrated for her incredible 30 years, and Jim Claus and Michael Hoben reached the extraordinary milestone of 40 years. Additionally, everyone was proud to acknowledge the Noble Prize winners, Susan LoPiccolo, Cece Donoghue and Ray Dunn, for their outstanding leadership in their ministries.
A beautiful evening of faith, fellowship and recognition warmly invites all of us to participate in gatherings such as this. Each member’s involvement strengthens our mission and enhances the sense of community we cherish within the Order. Let’s continue to grow, serve and celebrate together!
