On Sunday, October 13th, the Missouri Area welcomed the St. Louis Region of the Order of St. John to Evening Prayer at St. Clements of Rome Catholic Church in St. Louis. The Rev. Msgr. James Ramacciotti, ChD, served as celebrant and preached on how Blessed Gerard’s example of true nobility serves as an example for all the heirs of the Knights Hospitaller.

An octet from the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis directed by Ben Blasingame provided music for the service, which included as a motet a setting of Schiller’s poem on the Knights of St. John by Dr. Horst Buchholz. The service was followed by a reception hosted by area chairs Helen and Mike McCadden.
