On Thursday, December 12th, members of the Missouri Area gathered at the Church of the Annunziata for an Advent Mass concelebrated by Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski, ChC, Msgr. Vernon E. Gardin, ChM, Msgr. James Ramacciotti, ChD, and Msgr. John Leykam.
Mass was followed by a dinner at Old Warson Country Club, at which the Area Co-Chairs updated members on our many recent activities. Mike McCadden announced two new new opportunities for members. The first is 33-day self-guided retreat for consecration to Mary. Participants will use as their guide 33 Days to Morning Glory by Michael Gaitly, MIC. Our group will gather together to be consecrated to Mary on February 11, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
The second is a Rosary Outreach Mission, which will form small groups of lay people to recite the rosary on a regular basis. Archbishop Rozanski blessed 200 specially-made rosaries, which will be distributed to the members of those groups as soon as they are organized.
