On Saturday morning, December 14th, approximately 22 members of the New Jersey Area gathered for an Advent Morning of Reflection at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Parish in Middlesex, NJ. Our morning started with a Mass concelebrated by Rev. Philip-Michael Tangorra, ChD and Rev. David Skoblow, ChM.
The Mass was followed by an engaging Advent Reflection discussion led by Fr. Tangorra built on the overwhelming love of God. This began by looking at the figure of the Good Shepherd. We then applied the principles of the Good Shepherd to being a Knight or Dame of Malta specifically by applying the principles of the Good Shepherd to our motto: ”Tuitio Fidei et Obsequium Pauperem”.
The talk concluded with practical applications and our event continued with a very solemn Eucharistic Adoration, Confessions and a light lunch.
