On Saturday, February 8th, the South West Connecticut and Westchester Areas of the the American Association came together to celebrate the World Day of Prayer for the Sick and the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
This heartwarming event featured the Anointing of the Sick and the Blessing of the Caregivers, reminding us all of the beauty and power of faith. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Msgr. Robert Kinnally for graciously hosting us at St. Aloysius, and to Fr. Bob Dunn for his uplifting homily that resonated deeply with everyone present.
A big shout-out to our dedicated priests, deacons, and musicians who enriched our beautiful Mass, as well as our Knight and Dame volunteers coordinated by the wonderful Carrol Yanacelli, Hope Carter, Liz Tamarkin and Sally Sweeny who made everything run smoothly. And let’s not forget the hospitality team of Barbara and Tony Giobbi, Dayan Anadappa and all the fantastic volunteers who brought delicious food and drink to share!
