On Saturday, February 8th, the Vero Beach Area celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and the World Day of the Sick. Mass was celebrated by Fr. Frank D’Amato at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, with Deacon Wayne Creelman, ChDD, assisting. Approximately 100 members, candidates in formation, prospective candidates, associates, spouses, and children, were present to receive the Sacraments of the Eucharist and Anointing of the Sick. Members served as greeters and distributed bottles of Lourdes water to the 60 people who received the Sacrament of the Sick.
