The Emerald Lounge at Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center was hopping on Tuesday, March 11th for Late Knight Karaoke. Mary Manning Walsh residents and our NYC Area volunteers were out in full force and in full voice, singing a wide range of karaoke standards, plus some early St. Patrick’s Day classics.    

We were honored and thrilled to have some surprise musical guests: a MMW resident gave a strong Bob Dylan impression, playing his harmonica on Like a Rolling Stone. His grandson played impressive guitar on some Latin and other songs. Their musical skills and enthusiasm were greatly appreciated and applauded by all in attendance and we hope to see them at upcoming events.
