Accompanied by jingling tambourines, Order of Malta Members, Auxiliary, and friends came together on Saturday, June 7th for the monthly sing-along at ArchCare’s Mother Cabrini Hospital (MCH) at Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center (TCC). Volunteers donned floral leis to mark the spring-summer season and were full of cheer as we sang and danced with the residents, all of whom have lifelong, persistent neurological and developmental disabilities. This month, each resident participated in a special way by waving hand tambourines kindly donated by James Piazza, friend of the Order and of MCH.

We were blessed this month with the lively accompaniment provided by Mary Fedrigo, who made excellent use of the pianos on both floors of MCH.

Prior to beginning the sing-along, volunteers gave thanks for the lives of the MCH residents and prayed for the nurses who take such good care of them, always with a smile on their face.
