Members of the NYC Area, Auxiliary and friends, gathered at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on a very warm and humid Wednesday, June 18th to prepare Malta Walks Bags with sandwiches, toiletries, lip balm and electrolytes for the poor and sick in midtown Manhattan.
After praying together the Order of Malta Daily Prayer, volunteers prepared the bags enjoying friendly conversations. Venturing out as a group towards Lexington avenue passing by multiple architectural landmarks and office headquarters, volunteers distributed the bags to those in need and gathered at a local cocktail bar.
