On Saturday, June 28, the Connecticut – North East Area met to honor the memory of Saint John the Baptist with a meeting, Holy Mass and lunch. The staff at St. Thomas Seminary-Pastoral Center, Bloomfield hosted our delighted venue where Bishop Peter Rosazza, ChC is in residence. Fr. Joe MacNeill, ChD celebrated the Mass and delivered an inspiring homily on our Order’s Patron.
One of the great joys of the day was to officially welcome four new Knights and Dames of the Order.
Besides the announcements on the various ministries undertaken by Area members, Bishop and Bob O’Hara spoke of their recent pilgrimage to Lourdes. Bishop offered his remarks on our Patron and his thoughts on His Holiness Pope Leo XIV.
St. John the Baptist, pray for us.
