Recently, the New York City Area’s Malta Mobile Ministries Van went on its largest mission yet… the 2025 Malta Camp USA at Siena College in Upstate New York! Members of the American, Federal, Western, and Colombian Associations gathered for Malta Camp on June 14th to welcome nearly 50 adults with various disabilities. Since those flying into JFK Airport did not have their cars with them, and members from the NYC tri-state area sometimes do not own cars, the Malta Van was used to transport volunteers to and from Albany, NY. Once at camp, the van was used daily by the camp staff to set up activities, transport volunteers and guests who had difficulty walking around campus, pick up and drop off people at Albany Airport, and provide various other logistical services throughout the weeklong camp.
