On Monday September 8th, New Jersey Area Knights and Dames had the honor and privilege to celebrate and witness the Ordination of The Most Reverend Pedro Bismarck Chau, DD, at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, New Jersey. 

Auxiliary Bishop Chau, who is one of our beloved chaplains in the New Jersey Area, will serve as Regional Bishop of Hudson County in the Archdiocese of Newark, overseeing its parishes and institutions. Knights and Dames filled the side pews as we watched the moving Ordination and Mass. You can see the smiles on all our faces as the day was so very special. Bishop Chau will be elevated to Conventual Chaplain at the November Investiture. We hope he sports his Order of Malta socks again!
