On Tuesday, October 14, members of the Missouri Area of the Order of Malta joined the St. Louis Region of the Order of St. John for a solemn evensong in celebration of the Feast of Blessed Gerard, held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Ladue.

The service featured music sung by an octet from the church’s choir, under the direction of organist David Sinden, and members of the Order served as lectors. Following the liturgy, attendees gathered for a reception hosted by Mrs. Jane Gleason, where members of both orders renewed their bonds of friendship and shared in conversation about their shared mission: defending the faith and serving the sick and the poor.
