Missouri Area members served as Honor Guards for the relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. At the invitation of the Provincial Superior of the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus, 16 Knights and Dames stood watch on the night of November 9 and throughout December 10 beside a reliquary containing some of the saint’s bones while it lay in response at St. Agnes Home in St. Louis. Order of Malta members are regular visitors to St. Agnes home, where they have often assisted with bingo games for the residents and joined them and the sisters for mass in the chapel where they now stood vigil.
