Last month, members of the Northeast Connecticut Area came together to prepare and serve a delicious meal for guests at the New London Community Meal Center. Those served by the center enjoyed a refreshing variety of sandwiches, salad, cheesecake, and more—bringing comfort and joy to the community.

This quarterly outreach is made possible in part through the annual Local Area Project Support Grant from the American Association. Thanks to this support, the team was able to serve the appreciative crowd quickly and efficiently, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and cared for. After the meal, volunteers worked diligently to clean the facility, leaving it spotless for future use.

Through their dedication and hospitality, the Northeast Connecticut Area continues to embody the Order’s mission of serving the poor and the sick with love and respect.
