Members and Candidates of the Southeast Florida Area, joined by their families and a law student from St. Thomas University, came together on Thanksgiving Day to serve those in need at Camillus House. The group arrived early in the morning to assist with setup. After a hearty lunch was served, they distributed Care Packs filled with essentials such as blankets, socks, toiletries, and a Publix gift card. Thanks to a Local Area Support Grant, 312 Care Packs and gift cards were provided, ensuring comfort and dignity for Miami-Dade’s homeless community.
Camillus House stands as a beacon of compassion, offering comprehensive services that include permanent supportive housing, mental health care, substance use treatment, primary care, job training, rental assistance, and specialized programs for survivors of human trafficking and veterans.
